Recent Job Search Anxiety

I keep wondering when all of my job search efforts will pay off. I was so lucky in January when the position at CES practically fell into my lap; it felt like when all of the doors were closing around me CES was my window. I wish that I could find my window now, and I wish that it was the same place. I have applied for more positions than I can presently count, and I have only heard from one school. The principal told me I'd know by Wednesday if I had received the position. I don't believe that I will get that particular position, and it's really not the position I want. I worked so hard at ASU, and I haven't seen it REALLY pay off for me yet. I do feel a sense of accomplishment and pride for finishing my degree. However, I would like the chance to put into practice all of the strategies, knowledge, and skills I have acquired.

Getting Started

So, I finally created a blog site. Yeah! I have friends that already blog regularly, and I thought that I'd give it a try. It's kind of like journaling (that others can read). Anyway, I guess I'll start by stating where I am in my life right now. I'm 26 (soon to be 27) years old. My husband, Scotty, and I will celebrate our 3rd Anniversary on July 22nd. Right now our family consists of ourselves and our five kitties (babies) Frank, Jasmine, Gizzy, Chipper, and Bert. Our babies range in ages from 5 years to 18 mos. in age. They are absolutely crazy, and keep us on our toes! Sometimes they're spoiled behavior worries me about how affective we will be as parents to an actual human child.
I recently graduated with my B.S. in Elem. Edu. I am currently working at the same preschool position I worked for 7 years before beginning my internship, and I am actively seeking employment in my actual profession. So far, I've only had one interview and I don't think that it's THE ONE.
We live in a small 1 bedroom apt., and my teaching stuff is taking over our living room - I NEED A JOB!!!
